Coordination efficiency for general two-stage network system

چکیده
Two-stage network data envelopment analysis (DEA) is widely used to evaluate efficiency of different organizations with multiple operations processes or hierarchical structures. Although existing two-stage DEA assumes systems resolve the inherent conflicts between two stages, coordination effect stages usually ignored. Recently, relation traditional “black box” has been studied from perspective system coordination. A was defined and measured by a DEA-based approach based on simple systems. In this paper, we propose an extended for measuring general The paper shows that multiplier approaches equivalent each other under both constant returns scale (CRS) variable (VRS) assumptions. proposed verified via numerical examples finally.

Efficiency Measurement in Two-Stage Network Structures Considering Undesirable Outputs
Since data envelopment analysis (DEA) introduced in 1970s, it has been widely applied to measure the efficiency of a wide variety of production and operation systems. Recently DEA has been extended to examine the efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) with two-stage network structures or processes, where the outputs from the first stage are intermediate measures that make up the inputs of t...
متن کاملTwo-stage network DEA-R based on value efficiency
It is essential for most organizations and financial institutes to be able to evaluate their decision-making units (DMUs), when there is only a ratio of inputs to outputs (or vice versa) available. In this paper, we will propose our two-stage DEA-R models, which are a combination of data envelopment analysis and ratio data, based on value efficiency. Integrating value efficiency into data envel...

متن کاملEco-Efficiency Evaluation in Two-Stage Network Structure: Case Study: Cement Companies
The cement industry, as a primary trade, plays an important role in the development of a country's organization. This industry in Iran, however, despite of profuse benefits such as high-value mines, faces many challenges. Problems such as exploitation of the production require the need for doing research into this area. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the Eco-efficiency in Iran's 2...
